Course Description:

The course describes sleep habits predictive of problematic sleep and associated sleep activities that have a positive and negative impact on sleep. A pediatric tool box that includes intervention tools is provided for discussion, which is correlated to treatment strategies for bedtime success. Special needs for behavioral sleep treatment in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Development Delay discussed.

Upon completion of the course, the attendee will be able to:
1. Utilize behavioral sleep interventions to improve bedtime problems and night waking in young children
2. List special considerations for behavioral sleep treatment in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Developmental Delay
